There are many that pledge allegiances

Around the world to anthems and flags,

Over everything including their fellow man

This is something I do not really understand,

And I am not really sure that they can,

Instilled and conditioned from birth

And re-enforced within schools,

I don’t know why they think that it’s ok

And it’s what is at the root of society’s decay.
