You think you know somebody

But you actually don’t really,

What you know is the perception

That you created out of your own imaginings,

Which is not based on either truth or facts

Hence your surprise when you realise,

That they have layers you never saw or could have believed.

    So true, Faux. I have felt a certain way about a certain boy who could never live up to the expectations or my daydreams where everything about him was perfect. We end up disappointed if we don’t look realistically at the people we care about.
