It hurts to see how money is king

Where people are obsessed with guns,

Despite the mass school killings

Where women are told their bodies aren’t theirs,

For them to control it’s insane swear

Where corruption and lies rule the government,

Where the people go cold and hungry

While corporate profits soar and the men,

Those who rule at the top don’t believe profit should be shared

And they are outraged when the workers dare,

To strike for a little more like Oliver Twist

‘can we have more’ they ask and all we get is shit,

Told we have to pay for the non existent debt

You ask me the world is one big train wreck,

Full of disastrous laws, choices and policies

And all this keeps happening because of mankind’s greed.
