Pro-life and yet no gun control,
Unwanted babies born,
Then as schoolchildren killed,
It’s a warped and twisted thing
And the heavenly choir sings,
There’s no reason for unwanted births
Except where women were raped
Or abused or forcefully coerced,
There’s no good reason for kids to die
In their schools or for their families to cry,
No guns means reduced threats
No guns means a reduction in deaths,
Through mass shootings,
This may be simplistic but that’s how I see it
But let’s be honest and realistic,
The arms companies won’t let it happen
And Catholicism is not going to promote contraception,
So babies and kids will just keep on dying,
And the whole of humanity will keep on crying.
