What kind of society allows and creates poverty for those who are socially abandoned by those who hoard wealth and flaunt their affluent lifestyles. If you deny those in deprivation access to only poor education, food and health, along with poor social housing and little or no support, then it is no wonder people struggle. As a result people of more affluent backgrounds visit these people who are deprived of the right to good housing, food, education and health and judge them as failing. Yes, they are set up to fail. So they lose their jobs, they lose their kids, they lose so much. Society does little or nothing to support them. It does this because those who rule and manage things, desire an underclass. This gives them people to demonise and to feel superior over. This underclass is then put to work into the jobs that they won’t ever want to do. Climbing out of this underclass is possible only for the few, society makes sure of that. So people become homeless in a wealthy society, people starve and go cold in a wealthy society and few really care. Because greed and need for more is we are told good. Even if it means others suffer. Theres enough for everyone, if we share, but we don’t share, so many go without. This is the foundation of an unfair dystopian society and it is time we change it.
