They come from distant lands in boats
They do not come from here, this is not their home,
They come to steal our jobs, our women, our houses and our wealth,
They are illegal aliens, with no right to be here,
This is what the native Americans, Maori and aborigines cried,
But still we came and now we complain when the people
Of the sovereign nations, we bombed, the cities and homes we destroyed,
Now come here in their boats or crossing borders to seek a better future,
Like was traditional in the empire days and he says of forefathers past,
Now we cry it’s not right, it’s not fair, but maybe this is just karma.
