Judged wrongly and negatively
By those in power with agendas,
Told we would not be fit enough
Despite the care and all the love,
They just want to destroy it all
They judge us after building us up to fail,
Never wanted us to achieve their holy grail,
Of being seen as good enough and worthy
They care little for the trauma they are causing,
They say they are focused on what’s best
And, that is why we failed their test,
But that’s simply not honest nor is it true
It’s about control and coercion through and through,
They only declared half the proof
And left out the reasons why we would be good,
But the battle we may be losing but what must be understood
That we haven’t lost the war yet and there’s no reason why we should,
Because the truth and the best hope resides with us
And if others see through your lies then it must,
End in a victory for us and so in ourselves we have to trust.
