A flicker of light

In the dark recesses

Of the mind,

Is the flicker of hope

That we can define,

As an end to dispair

And better times,

Grab it, seize it

Be alert and aware,

So you no longer

Have to suffer and bare,

The pain of the darkness

No longer I swear,

Just look out for the flicker

And then dare,

To show yourself

That you really do care,

For yourself and awaken

From this dark nightmare.
