Don’t believe

Don’t believe what the media spins

In any kind of war the truth is the victim,

Don’t believe the propaganda wars

Both sides lie to support their cause,

Don’t believe what governments say

They have vested interests in differing states,

Power, money and influence dictates

What side our governments take,

But do remain believing in love and peace

Be always compassionate with your speech,

Think of all the victims in between

Forget the politics and religious decrees,

Just pray for the innocent as they weep

War is mankind and humanities disease,

Brutal men wage war and won’t be appeased

Until they killed enough of the meek,

With their rockets and killing machines

Where we have no arms except those that hug,

And our greatest weapons are love,

We try preaching tolerance peace and unity

But our voice is not heard because the media doesn’t seem,

This as newsworthy it craves blood and death

But we must keep on fighting war not wars

Until we’ve taken our final breath,

Because if we are not capable of being humane

Then believe and trust me we’ve nothing left.
