The difference in our skin colour is irrelevant right,
Yet people use it to divide us and to get us to fight,
The difference in our gender and sexuality is of no consequence,
Yet people try to highlight this as a troublesome difference,
People out there just, it seems like dividing us,
As if creating hate, jealousy and intolerance is their drug,
People somewhere out there just love people hating people,
Which is why we must show love, compassion and care for all,
We must stay united and that should be our cause,
Along with kindness and sharing to end all of these troubles,
Choose to be strong in words and actions without the need for violence,
That’s the way of other people that leaves humanity in silence,
When the worst of human nature reaps such destruction and death,
And leaves us all standing and witnessing how mankind is so bereft,
That it tolerates the systematic injustices that rob so many of their breath.
