Asbestos mined in open cast pits
Distributing it’s deadly shit,
In the air and polluting it
It puts everyone at risk,
From Kazakhstan to Canada
A banned substance still produced,
Why is it that these mines continue
Putting in danger both me and you,
And how many miners die of this
Deadly substance best left in the ground,
In the name of money and profit
People die unable to breathe,
As the asbestosis fills their lungs unseen
And this only continues because of greed.
