Socialism gave me free schools and health
Offered the welfare state to help
Those who are struggling, poor and in need,
Along came the right wing and are trying
To take all this away from me,
Despite having paid under my taxes
To keep all of these services free,
Because the right knows they can’t sustain their greed
On a socialist system that offers these services you see,
Which by the way are free only because
They are paid for willingly by the likes of you and me.
