So many people that I know

Moan about the life they’ve sowed,

Saying that they aren’t paid enough

With talents that go untouched,

They do jobs well within their skillset

Refusing to challenge themselves,

Because it may mean doing more hours

Or having to take responsibility for others,

And they seem to feel they should get more

For doing work of which they’re bored,

Mundane and unskilled tasks,

I work hard in challenging jobs

And when I hear my friends moan it makes me laugh,

They want top money for nothing

Maybe they need to change something.
