Regardless of any and many defences
We opened up and went on the offensive,
In a hope to save humanity and this earth
A massive challenge of great worth,
It was a mission I believe deserved
More than the mockery intended to hurt,
But if words and threats are the worst
They have got to offer they can be dispersed,
With a show of intelligence, that is the curse
Of the loud mouth yobs and government serfs,
Who we could have beaten easily but we were risk averse,
And so we let them off the hook now that’s perverse
And we went back underground again amongst the rebellious universe,
Who feared taking the final step of effecting real change
Why we allowed this to be the case is kind of strange,
And we are left with the consequences and the shame.
