Stop going on about it

You keep going on about

Keep going on about

The same old inequalities,

But you don’t ever want to see

You don’t want to ever see,

That there are on offer opportunities

But the truth is you don’t want to seize,

The choices that if you were to see

Would improve your equality,

You’re just being obstinate

And choosing to be stubborn,

Refusing to embrace change

Refusing to allow new things to govern,

Your life and how you live it today

So you just cut your nose off to spite your face,

And so this is the reality

So just start to except the consequences,

And stop trying to blame everything,

On everybody else, when it’s you but you don’t see.
