Throughout our lives hindered by voices,

Of others who want to distract or control us

It’s hard not to succumb to them and think for ourselves,

But our path is our path and our thoughts are our own

And it’s only us that can decide our direction alone,

The moment we surrender that, we surrender our lives

And we are led down other pathways that may not be right,

So stay independent, individual and unique

And shut out all those voices who try to over speak,

So that the choices, decisions, thoughts and ideas you have are yours, so stay strong and not weak,

And stay on the pathway that is true for you

And will see you succeeding in all that you do.
