It’s a sunny day here and full of bliss

And it feels like I am basking in nature kisses,

The warmth on my face and I am feeling good

And everything is peaceful in my neighborhood,

Fast forward around the globe it’s not like that for all

And so I show appreciation because I am not a fool,

I understand how lucky I am and will never forget this

That in different places people strive to stay alive,

Through starvation and war as well as genocide

And I’ll go about this day with that in mind,

Which reminds me to be humble, loving and kind

Grateful for everything even in these hard times,

Imagine a world at peace and not war, how sublime,

Neive people say well that maybe do but I’ve learned a lot as I got old,

Like not just believing there are those worse off than me

When I see many greedy people living off the exploitation of society,

And I do believe yes those people owe us all a living

Because they keep taking, as we keep on giving,

And though my day today is sunny and full of bliss

And though I am happily enjoying nature’s tender kiss,

Through my gratitude and appreciation

I will always reiterate my affirmations,

That we need to rise up and make our voices heard

They treat us like cattle but we must break free of the herd,

And be an individual fighting for what is right

And promoting and spreading to all beautiful love and light.
