Nuclear weapons keeping the world safe is a misnomer and a lie, a delusion, for the presence of them doesn’t stop wars. All it does is allow those holding these warheads the ability to maintain power and control over lesser nations. If those lesser nations fight back against these nuclear powers, they do so knowing the risk. The risk of winning can end in their nuclear destruction. It’s the fear, doubt and threat these weapons possess that is the reason these despot leaders and psychopaths keep their arsenals and build on them, telling other lesser nations that they  cannot do the same, because they don’t want global nuclear parity. Don’t believe the lie, as long as nuclear weapons exist our world is on count down, until the moment comes when a despot desperate enough finally puts their finger on the button and pushes it. That will be our end of day.
