How can the people speak as one, then hear their government ignore them all when said and done, they are the representation of how the majority feel and should voice their views, even if it doesn’t to them, appeal. Government is the mouthpiece of oligarchs and multinational corporations, they are not the foundation of genocidal apartheid nations, they are no more than civil servants working for the people and not just the quarter that vote them in but for everyone that stands against what’s wrong and who demands a change, we can’t let minority governments go against what the majority say..
