I watch and study the worst acts of man

And no matter how I reconcile it I can’t understand,

How humanity can act so bad and make my heart sad

But I also know that there’s a life to be had,

So I still manage the time to laugh and smile

You have to find the balance and once in a while,

Remember to take care of yourself and your wellbeing

It’s important for us all to be freeing,

Ourselves from any pain and hurt and misery

So that we remain whole and in some way complete,

Where we can see the world is brutal but also beautiful

And realise the dreams and hopes that would suit us all,

And that we can work to eradicate the darkness and evil

And lead mankind from the prime evil which is achievable,

And to help build a foundation for our children and theirs

That is more positive and transcending kind and fair,

With equality, love, compassion and peace at its core

That one day will end global warming and all bloody wars.
