A life of strife like that of Job
Or maybe one one like Schrödinger’s cat,
Experimental or repeating mistakes
Like Sisyphus who I am sure wailed,
Or maybe just like Icarus
We try to fly where no one should dare,
And all I see when I look around
Are lessons to be learned, it’s so profound,
Yet even learning from these
Life doesn’t seem to ease,
I always end up on my knees,
Maybe it’s always meant to be this way
Right up to the end of days.
