Climactic change
Beyond our range,
Our seasons now
Are becoming strange,
Fire and floods beyond the norm
And now far more abnormal storms,
With milder wetter winters here
Nothing now is so clear,
As once it was and with global warming
A new world may well be dawning,
And not one so sympathetic to man
What is so hard to understand,
Without forests it’s harder to breathe
And more fatal without bats and bees,
If our ecology becomes less balanced
It will offer us far more toxic malice,
And sustaining life will be harder to achieve
In a world in which it’s harder to breathe.
