The clock ticks by
I feel smothered I can’t lie,
Life is racing by me
It won’t slow down
No matter how I try,
It’s time to take a break
Free myself and escape,
But every bit of sanctuary
Becomes chaotic in some way,
I need to breathe
So therefore I need to leave,
The madness for a moment
Everybody needs a break.
