I won’t respond to you in the same way

That you try to get my attention,

With your violence and with your hate

I have transcended these perceptions,

Ignorance is not my privation

Nor is it part of my affections,

I have learnt to leave that behind

I wish only to be compassionate and kind,

I share love while you promote hate

So I don’t care for you wasting my time,

On this negative and toxic life to which

I choose forever to turn my vision so I am blind.
