The fire the cries, the smell, the shame
A young man, a patient dies in sheer pain,
As a humanity we all share in this blame
How many times should it occur again,
Before we see it’s unacceptable and needs to change
Or we are guilty of fanning those deadly flames,
By doing and saying nothing to express our outrage
And by threatening those in power that the day,
Is growing closer where we decide not in our name
That our governments are complicit in Palastine pain,
Should ever believe we’ll allow them continue to reign.
