How ridiculous is life in this age
Where people watch and wave flags
Of either side as wars continue to rage,
And those who are innocent suffer and die
And how preposterous it is when not every body cries,
At the brutality carried out across the globe
Where nobody can say that they don’t know,
Some shut eyes and minds to all this
Others cheer from the sidelines looking vicious,
And too many follow and refuse to question
Or are prepared to hold the warmongers to account,
Their only consequence is to be given power
Which is why I reject all forms of these governmental showers.
