Still the genocide goes on,

Still our government stays silent,

While our people demonstrate

Against the mass murder of women and children,

What happened to democracy

Where the government stands for the people,

Is supposed to be the voice of the people,

And carries out the policies the people want

People do not want us arming Israel,

The people do not want us standing by an apartheid colonial state of occupation,

A referendum would give a clear steer on this,

It’s time our governments acted on the will of the people as a whole,

And not just in the interest of a minority group and a foreign power,

People demand a ceasefire now and the withdrawal of any arms, military personnel,

The UK as a majority stands with Palastine and our government must act accordingly.
