Welcome to the winter

With all of its traditional ill health,

Lots of coughs and sneezes

Among everything else,

Guarding against the weather

And all the storms and chills,

Yet still there’s something special

About the winter time season still,

Jack Frost nips at people’s noses

Somewhere snowmen spring to life,

And some people will have guns

Going skating in the arena of ice,

This is winters magic

With all its good times and its ills,

Yet somehow winter’s wonders

Fill us with delight.
