Blood and sweat smeared her face
It was on her hands, under her nails,
It stained the clothes she wore
All of this was brutal ravages,
Of a bloody and very costly war
But she was determined to save her people,
For oppression and a brutal occupation
By warriors from somewhere overseas,
From some far off foreign nation,
They came to conquer, they came to kill
But they underestimated her determination,
And now standing in the center of the battlefield
She bathed within the victorious sensation,
Her countries flag gripped in her left hand so tight
The head of the enemy king held in her right,
She had taught him a lesson in power and might,
And how they underestimated how fiercely they would fight,
The warrior Queen and Goddess of light
Clothed in leather and lace shining under the moon this night.
