Doing good to others
Defines who we are,
Sharing and caring
Makes us so aware,
But there are those
They are always blind,
To others all around
And are not considerate,
To anybody else,
How hollow that must be
It’s vacuous beyond belief,
Not helping other people
And offering them relief,
As well as a release
From all the stress abounding,
I don’t think they have empathy,
They’re just going round in circles
It’s hard to have any sympathy,
Fill your life with love and kindness
Until it all overflows,
Don’t be an empty vessel
Happy to always be controlled.
