When did hate become great
In any nation or any state,
When did divisions become good
Hating different people in your neighbourhood,
When did people buy from a salesman
The belief that they are a statesman,
Who sells you lies and misinformation
Not realising he will destroy your nation,
In the name of greed and power
And from a desire simply to control,
When did people stop voting for visionaries
And choose instead to vote with those with no soul.
