We voted socialist,

And ended up with

The same old shit,

That we voted out of power

They’re persecuting the poor,

Just like the lot before,

It proves one thing to me

Whoever you vote for,

Does not mean anything

It’s just the same elites,

On fucking repeat,

And none of them go after the rich

Because they are controlled by them,

And in their world of wealth

It would seem an act of self-harm,

So they inflict all the suffering

On the ones down on their knees,

While the elites do as they please,

I am done with all this trickery

And I am so angry that they lied to me,

Surely the only thing to do at this point

Is to start to object and refuse,

And put pressure on those who rule,

To make the fucking change

That we all wanted, rather than the same,

Of what we chose and voted for to ease our pain.
