Why do people simply assume
That you’re not in favour of those who rule,
Yours or other nations
That somehow means that you hate them too,
Which could not be further from the truth
I love all mankind and I hope that you do ,
For it is the only way that we can ensure
That our leaders don’t go too far astray,
Yet still I think they do when they start wars
The only thing worth fighting for is peace,
By fighting war not wars as I’ve said before
And I make no apologies if I sound a bore.
But by not craving this the dead ones blood
Will one come to settle outside your door,
Which is something that I know you will abhor
So raise your voices loudly and fight war not wars.
