Don’t poke me with a stick

Just to see how I react,

It will not be good, that’s a fact,

There is no reason for us

To be dived or as enemies,

We should always be kind and friendly,

Even when on polar opposites

And unable to understand or agree,

The view of each other, just simply be

Tolerant and compassionate

Without needing to compromise in this society,

If we remain united, we can defeat the lies

Of those ruling above us, driven by greed

Using control to ensure that you and I,

Are set against each other like enemies,

Don’t let them manipulate us and make us bleed,

Because we are stronger together I believe

And can stop them from defining how our lives should be,

Struggling just to survive from day to day constantly,

We are one sentient race with the intelligence to see

That we can unite together and live far more happily.
