They frown on you if they can’t manipulate or control you,
Give them half a reason or a choice and they’ll destroy all you are and what you do,
This is the truth and I am telling no lies
So it should be no surprise when I tell you it’s the system that I despise,
As the poorest in societies pay the price and simply die
Because the system fucking hates the poor and treats us as if we are all one size,
So dispensable, irrelevant and so are ignorant and deaf to our cries,
For equality and freedom which we see as life’s first prize.
