Lost and found

The story of my life,

For so long I did not know,

What was wrong for me or right

But then I saw the light,

And decided to break free,

I realised this society is not for me,

So I do my own thing now

And live the way I want to,

And do what I want to do

In the way I think I should,

And not the way I was conditioned

Where I gave and never took,

And got no rewards for it,

So I became my own authority,

And now I just don’t give a shit

About what other people think,

I pulled back from the brink,

Of being just another lemming

Following the crowd until we fall off the cliff,

And our lives become worthless

To a society that really doesn’t care,

Now I am so much more aware

And do what others will not ever dare.
