Better than this

No threat of a fist,

Just a flow of words

That show is absurd,

For words are more powerful

And live longer in time,

The words of this rhyme

Will last longer in many minds,

Then a mistake in the face

Or a kick in the ribs,

From those who observe

Or read about this,

So the force of a debate

It is best won with passionate words,

Spoken in a logical way

On the other side they’re served,

Use an intellectual argument

That is hard to resist,

But understand when used

The ignorance may persist,

In those that hear it

Because they won’t accept the risk,

Of being seen they are wrong

Which is when they use their fists,

To silence the argument

Using violence and fear as a tool,

And if you think it makes you seen as riight

Then you’re no genius but simply a fool.
