Surviving at all cost

They say survival is all the matters

But it depends what you’re left with,

If survival means that you’re left with nothing

And no love ones or home exists,

And you’ve lost your reason to live

Then what’s survival worth at its core,

Just continuing with an empty nothingness

With a heart and memories that are torn,

But I don’t advocate ever giving up

You just need to know it can leave you forlorn,

Remembering all you had, yet no longer have any more.
