What happened to the anti-vivisection fight
How could they have silenced animal rights,
What happened to the fight on banning nuclear weapons
Maybe people stopped, tired of being threatened,
And now they say protesting for the planet is wrong
Eco-activists trying to stand up and be strong,
And then they are told they are classed as terrorists
This is what happens when you attempt to resist,
They gag you, silence you and lock you up
And it appears not enough people give a fuck,
Like they used to, back in the day when I was growing up,
Now it’s all about money, mortgages and trusts
And becoming rich and famous of which many people lust,
As the podcasters and the streamers go off their nut
Trying to rake it in these social media fucks.
