Grow in kindness for that shows wisdom
Shrivel in to hate sees you in a self imposed prison,
Grow into a person who stands for others rights
Then you’ll realise a life not of darkness but of light,
Share all you can and see how it is returned
Hoard your possessions and watch yourself burn,
As people walk away from your selfishness,
While those who give while having nothing are often blessed,
With genuine love, warmth and friendship out of gratitude,
It’s not difficult for me to choose which life, but how about you?
