Standing in the clifftop
Surveying the scene,
Of what seems like a dream
Of the beautiful dazzling sea,
Below a cloudless blue sky
With birds gliding overhead,
And the sounds of gentle waves
As they hit the jagged rocks,
And as I stand still and mindful
I drink in the wonders of life,
And the environment of which we’re blessed
I take nothing for granted about it,
And offer up gratitude for the feeling of zest
That courses through my veins,
In triumphant glee of all that I see.
