Long days of heat come to an end
In comes the rain and blustery winds,
Cooling down our environment
This is how nature works and it makes sense,
Cooling down how we’re all feeling
Making life, a whole less tense,
Shame it can’t work the same
In politics with our governments,
They ramp up tensions until they can’t back down
It’s so ignorantly so profound,
That they can’t act like nature does
Preserving the balance no matter what,
It manages to stop from going way to far
But governments won’t or maybe can’t,
They’ll destroy everything rather than lose face
Fighting on all fronts like, colour, gender or your faith.
