I write in a way that is clear and easily understood

I don’t need to write clever literary terms like others demand I should,

My words are rooted in messages that are important to me,

I do not wish people to not grasp my point or misunderstand what they perceived,

It’s not an insult to my readers who choose to follow me,

But I never set out to be a writer scribing at high levels of literacy,

My words I hope carry passion and resonate deep within,

And I try to avoid the fact it’s not understood or there is a misunderstanding,

Of the words I am trying to convey and if it’s word play you require then you’re in the wrong place,

And no matter how I am critiqued this is my simple way,

And if that’s not right for you then I guess you won’t read my words again,

And if you do it, simply just to criticise and put me in my place,

Then I really don’t have time for that, for I have more important things to do than play that silly game.
