Return to what is important

Extract yourself from all the stress

But don’t ever settle for less,

Prioritise health over wealth

Put enjoying nature over money,

Still the mind and don’t let it be chaotic,

Don’t believe everything your told

Be careful what you are being sold,

Question everything and then make your choice

Make sure everyone hears your voice,

Then put time aside to abide in peace

Returning to the stillness of mind,

That slows down the pace of life and time.

  1. This post makes a lot of sense. The way my mom taught me is the way I taught my kids and my grandkids. My daughter speaks her mind all of them do and their spouse or significant other can’t handle a strong woman. They don’t listen and go with what is told or sold. As you say. They get all the facts and make their own decision. I don’t tell them what they need to do in life. I just explain how I dealt with the same situation when I was growing up or as a young adult and they can take their experiences and add to mine and make a right choice. So I really like this post. Thanks Fauxcroft
