Trees are our planets life blood,

An Eldritch vibrant greens cape canopy

Once upon they stretched as far as the eye could see,

But now concrete and brick dominates out view

Same as glass and limestone walls too,

And it’s affecting the balance of life which is fact as well as truth,

We’ve comprised and destroyed the ecological balance of this earth

And not enough people in power understand it’s worth,

They exploit and they build greed from it

And show disdain and no regret for what they do,

Multinational corporations are the plague and many ask me

If they are the problem what is the cure,

And it’s pointless asking the question, as many don’t like the answer,

We need to start putting the environment first return to the days of forestry,

Instead of replacing the green canopies with concrete as far as we can see,

And industrial farms churning out beef in which we upon all feast,

We must return to nature, of which without we ould not breathe.
