War, is it worth fighting for

Billionaires they hoard all the cash,

Send it to tax free havens to build up their stack,

They are destroying Gaza for its resources

Rare earth minerals, gas and oil are reported,

No war is waged for any righteous cause

Anyone who thinks that they are fools of course,

It’s the way the wealthiest get even richer,

A crime gang committing war crimes do you get the picture,

And as a result we die on battlefields

Or we suffer through inequality,

Deprived of many essential needs

We are not crying out for a life of luxury,

Just enough for us all to actually be

Living life a bit more comfortably,

Receiving the rewards for our labour

As wealth producers are we asking too much,

But don’t ask the rich because they don’t give a fuck,

And if we get by then it’s due to luck,

So fuck the wars, and the filthy rich

Fuck the messages from our leaders, it don’t fit,

Destroying countries just for their resources makes me sick,

Fight war not wars is a mantra we should put on repeat.
