I feel and see the insidious rise of fascism, it learnt its lessons from the days of Hitler, Mussolini and Franco. Rather than bodily kicking down doors and announcing itself with bravado it now, creeps in, insidiously burrows into the minds of the struggling poor people, the vulnerable and those who are open to shift blame for their mistakes in life to others. It pollutes the thinking, darkens the heart and corrupts the soul. It misplaced blame, rather than exposing the truth that the wealthy elites and corporations are squeezing us more for increased profits and control, they convince us that those arriving in small boats are the issue. Yes if a thousand arrive, there will be maybe a tiny minority who are not the kind you want here but the majority may bring benefits in the workplace doing work others indigenous to here refuse to do and on wages many won’t work for, with a better work ethic. Regardless of this they are not the issue, they don’t raise prices, seek higher profits and greater controls.

Fascism plays a big part in distracting people, telling us who the ones we should fear are, who we should hate but in a far more subtle way than ever before. It does contradictions like they are coming for the benefits, yet it also states they are taking the jobs, which is it? Who has actually been made redundant or sacked and replaced by a migrant. Who has been evicted in favour of a migrant? Now how many can say they lost their jobs due to efficiencies and cut backs to increase corporate profit margins and as a result lost their house due to low pay or no pay, caused by job losses. Big retailers are now replacing cashiers with self check-outs, more banks are closing branches to service people online. Both of these trends reduce the need for labour. That is not an issue caused by migrants but the corporations and media deflect from this truth to point the finger at others. They also are using migrants to reduce our freedoms and to increase state control with the proposed introduction of ID cards. They need to know everything you do and everywhere go to control you to the optimum. Fascist ideology also relies on division and isolation, and all minorities become targets under this system, those of differing colour, faiths, disabilities, gender, sexuality.

Under fascism the key to success is reduced access to good quality education, access to good quality training and work. Fascism works best under an undereducated, ignorant population that requires information to be fed to them via a nanny state and biased media, telling them how to think and feel, stifling critical thinking and questioning. Only those who fully comply will get in regardless of skills and understanding of the needs of people, businesses and society. Nepotism and loyalty to the masters then dictate advancement. Keeping the population undereducated keeps them from seeing their own struggles as it plays on the patriotism of being part of a dictated race and faith, and gender that excludes all others.

Fascism plays on peoples fear of that which they do not understand, fear of change, fear of progress, the denial of scientific facts of knowledge and facts.

The rise globally of fascism is and should be a great concern for all as it limits freedom of expression, movement and ideologies. It thrives and is dependent on those lacking intellect, those who prefer to follow, do that when things go wrong it’s never their fault. It holds back progress and innovation and creates a mindset of looking back to the past rather than the future. Most important of all fascism is run by the powerful and wealthy elites and corporations oppressing and suppressing those below them, turning us all into slaves, ensuring we are dependent on the state to survive. It monitors your every thought, movement and action, you will lose free speech, expression under its governance. If you like closely you’ll see its creeping insidious growth, rooted in ignorance, fear and division, rooted in the lie of who is causing your struggle to live in society today, hiding the truth that  it is those above selling you this fascistic ideology.
