History is always on repeat

Filled with brutal me of deceit,

They used to use swords face to face

Then they used guns but from further away,

Now they use drones from a safe place

Almost as if they are playing a game,

And the great thinkers and philosophers

Are now far less but there are more imposters,

Who claim to be great but are vastly diminished

Who left to rule will soon see mankind finished,

And the warriors and hero’s of the past

Would be completely shocked and aghast,

At those that rule who are not even smart

Ignorant, illiterate, and who comed academically last,

So do excuse me if I decide to get out of your system fast,

Because it only works for the corrupt and the criminals

Who leave the poor with less than the minimal

And yes, I know, it always been this way

But at some point everything has to change

And I hope and I pray for that glorious day

Which is why it’s important to challenge authority each day.
