I know it’s hard to face up to life

When being asked to make a stand for what is right,

I know it’s easier to just bury your head

And focus on everything and anything else,

Because it’s easier, because you say it’s not your problem,

But what if you ever need someone to stand by you

Would you not hope they would do this too,

So no matter how hard it may be making a stand,

It should be a prerequisite for all to understand,

That is what being human means.
