Self doubt plagues me

Questions my ability,

It leaves me feeling unworthy

Despite knowing I can succeed,

But that voice in my ear

Keeps on continually telling me

To settle for less humbly,

And stop believing that I

Could ever in this life achieve,

As if it’s speaking honestly.
